Eating Cheap in Germany

I made it through 4 years of college without cooking or eating spaghetti once.  It was one of my proudest accomplishments.

Didn't bring my dictionary, but this section was priced to move!
I have started cooking here in Germany in order to save some money and add diversity to my bread and doner-kebap diet.  Naturally, I looked up spaghetti recipes and then searched the supermarket for ground beef and a can of tomato sauce.  It turns out spaghetti its reallllyyy easy to make.
"Ja, this should be... good"
Schwein-Rind is the meat of choice for my special spaghetti recipe.  It is easy to pan fry, tastes pretty good, and is 4.60 Euro a Kilo.  Schwein-Rind turns out to be an interesting word combo- it means "Pig Beef" if translated literally. I have yet to figured out if it is actually a meat blend, or just an expression.  It makes no difference, however, because it is delicious and yields a 1.80 Euro per serving meal.
